Our Padi IDC Preparation Course ( 1 - 2days )

We would like to invite you to our COMPLIMENTARY Padi Prep course.

Padi IDC Candidates taking the PADI Instructor Development Course are expected to have a good knowledge of diving academics and demonstration-quality pool skills. Maybe it has been some time since your Divemaster training or you may have not been active in assisting with classes. Perhaps you are just not entirely confident about your level of expertise. If either of these situations applies in your case, this is why our Padi IDC Preparation Course is a must for all candidates.

This course will alleviate those fears and will thoroughly prepare you to enter the Padi IDC with added confidence in academics and confined water skill demonstrations.

We frequently have Padi IDC candidates who are not comfortable with Physics or the Dive Tables (especially eRDPml) or they are unable to perform pool skills to demonstration quality.

During the Padi IDC Preparation Course we will work closely with you to eliminate your individual difficulties, before the Padi IDC begins. During the Padi IDC you can then concentrate on preparing your Padi IDC assignments, rather than devoting time to reviewing material and skills you should have covered thoroughly in your Padi Divemaster Course.

Tip: It is highly recommended that you purchase a Diving Knowledge Workbook and answer all the questions. This is the best way to prepare for your Padi IE Exams.

This EFR Instructor course teaches Instructors how to organize, conduct, market and promote the PADI Emergency First Response Course. The course emphasizes hands-on skills practice and demonstrations. The EFRI Course is low stress and makes you feel confident and relaxed.

EFR is part of several PADI certification levels (Rescue, Divemaster, AI and OWSI). Therefore, it is one of the most marketable courses in the PADI System and allows you to offer all-inclusive programs.

You do not have to send your student elsewhere to complete their diving education.
Also since the EFR course is not diving specific, you can offer this training to all your customers, friends and family.

    Emergency First Response Instructor Course:

Emergency First Response is a new, comprehensive and innovative CPR and first aid program brought to you by the Emergency First Response Corp., a corporate affiliate of PADI.

The comprehensive program is composed of two courses that you can teach in tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid). Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and first aid, as well as recommended Automated External Defibrillator (AED), emergency oxygen and conscious choking management skills.

The Emergency First Response method of learning is flexible to meet participant and instructor needs. Participants use a self-study, video guided or instructor led approach. In addition, Emergency First Response has no market restrictions so you can teach it to anyone who wishes to acquire CPR and first aid training.

Also, anyone who is a PADI Divemaster or above can become an Emergency First Response Instructor.

During the Emergency First Response Instructor course, you will build on your skill as an Emergency Responder and focus on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others. The Instructor course provides you with the additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. (Region-specific courses including First Aid at Work Asia Pacific and First Aid at Work Great Emergency First Response Instructor courseBritain require additional training.)

Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct Emergency First Response courses.

The instructor course covers specific goals and performance requirements for the Primary Care, Secondary Care and Care for Children courses, along with instruction on how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training, and your role as the instructor in the learning environment.

You also learn how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become proficient in developing students' hands-on skills practice sessions, and are taught how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.
